There are several categories of membership under the new constitution. Life Members, Ordinary Members, Honorary Members, Student/Junior Playing Members, Associate Members, and Saturday Members
The main ones are Ordinary Members who play regularly on club days and Saturday Members who are mostly full time workers and can only come on Saturdays or Public Holidays. Players who belong to other croquet clubs can be Associate Members and pay a fee reduced by CWKC and CNZ levies as these will have been paid to their home club.
Ordinary Members are those who have been admitted as full members and pay the full annual fee. They enjoy the use of all our facilities and are able to represent the club at other clubs in the Waikato and surrounding areas.
Saturday Membership is for those who work, or only wish to play on a more social basis. They pay a reduced fee and play on Saturday afternoons, but can pay Green Fees on other days.
You can apply to become a member by contacting the secretary at matamatacroquet@gmail.com. To apply to be a member you need to be sponsored by a club member and a committee member.
